Sounds like a sweet deal. Even Merle Haggard sang about Newton County. I use to day dream about living in the back forty of Newton County.

It's 1240 at the house in hollow w/the N end of Smith Mountain looming just across the creek. I love it...just tired of keeping up w/2 places.

I have no idea what Tapatalk 2 is, much less SCH-whatever. I'm old school but your property sounds nice. Any pics?

I have a solar upgrade to do way down in Walnut Valley, South of Swain. Have my own chapter in God's Country 40 years ago....It is sweet to drive those hills again...would be sublime to live in that part of the woods but what can one do to earn a living..... tHE OLD PARADIGM didn't work out so well... Sigh

I have to relist periodically to keep it near the front of the list...It's also listed on Zillow & has a pretty accurate map. Know someone interested, Deb?

The area of Swain, we roamed those hills, in search of a sense of history for Brent's soon to be departed mother, where she was born and raised. It is Gawd's Country, sweet as Tupelo Honey.
