Female black with white tips on rear feet and a narrow white stripe on chest dumped in a box at the thrift store. Small breed looks like terrier mix 12 pounds 2 ounces. She has a broken K-9 with an exposed nerve and a cut on her upper lip. She is wearing an orange ‘life is good’ collar with no tags and she is not micro chipped.

If you have any information on her former owners that abandoned her or are interested in adopting her please contact animal control, Lauren at 479-981-0765.

Here she is. Poor thing is traumatized. Whoever dumped her should be charged if we can find out who did it. If anyone knows the owner please come forward.

Gad, the "life is good" collar touch just breaks your heart, doesn't it? I have absolutely no time for the abusers of little creatures.

What's the status of this poor little baby?

I took her to Wes Rice and he pulled the broken tooth. She has improved greatly and has stopped the circling (when I first got her she would just circle and circle). The vet’s diagnosis was that she was beat in the head by a human causing brain swelling along with a concussion, but she is recovering well. She might have some eye sight loss in her left eye that may not come back, but everything else is well. She loves children and does well with other dogs and cats. She is currently looking for a home. If you are interested you can contact Lauren 479-981-0765.

What is it with humans? I would give anything to have my Buddy puppy back[defenseless dog killed] and then there is this one who is alive and a human is brutel to it and dumps it, and it was probably the owner with a temper like that guy who lives next door to me. Makes me sicker to my heart and stomach. I want so much to help another dog but cannot bring another one into my home until somehow I know that guy next door will never ever do what he did to Buddy.

Best of luck for this cutie in getting a good and loving home.

I am so very sorry for your loss, jdelo.
I know how I would feel if something happened to my two.
I do not personally know the guy who killed your dog, but I hope he gets the worst punishment there is for what he did.
I know if I ever meet him I will speak my mind to him and tell him what a jerkoff he is.

Ok..this is hard as there are so many doggies that need a good home, but here goes.
My son is coming down from Chicago in a week in a half. He is happily married with a small boy, our grandson named Vincent.
They currently have a german shephard (female) that they have had for over 2 years, and they have given her a great home.
They would like to adopt another dog to take back with them.
My 4 year old grandson has his heart set on a white puppy. They are looking for a female puppy, one they can train and allow to raise themselves.
If you know of anyone who has a puppy they would like see go to a great home., please contact me. Thanks!
