I'm sitting here wondering if they didn't get my check. Their own web site and eurekasprings.com seem fine. Anyone working with a web site host that's worth dealing with?

Our logical sites web site is working. Kind of expensive though...

Hi folks,
We use itsamac.com. We have been with them forever. We used to have Logical Sites for Eureka Kids but we have moved all of our sites including E Kids to them at this point.
The service is excellent and the prices are good.
They also are set up well enough that I cant really say we have ever been down for more than a few moments.
Every host has down time. What matters is how quick they rectify the issue.

It turns out my web site was okay. Some where yesterday, "about: blank" hopped on the line with me. While it did manage to change the homepage of the FireFox browser windows I had open and in memory, it didn't make it through the next layers of security. A simple reboot was all it took to fix every thing. No changes in my registry or on my hard drive.
My first experience with "about: blank" wasn't so easy. I ended up losing most of the stuff on my hard drive. I have to say I'm pleased all the security software luggage on this thing worked this time but I'm still a little ticked I have to use so much memory and hard drive space to protect myself from @ssholes.

Community First Bank in Eureka Springs at
http://www.communityfirsteureka.com/
was down a couple of days ago (another site maintained by Logical). I contacted the bank in Berryville at:
http://www.communityfirstbank.com/ (their URL was still working), and they told me that "someone" let the domain name subscription lapse on the ES URL. I guess the site's maintainer paid the bill, because C1's site is working again.....
