W's inauguration

In a few weeks George Bush will celebrate his inauguration. Our country
remains at war. The largest natural disaster in modern history has just
struck over 12 countries killing upwards of 150 thousand people, leaving
millions homeless, and living with absolutely nothing.

The inaugural committee has raised more than 40 million dollars for the
celebration. If you would prefer to see this money spent for our soldiers,
their families, and humanitarian aid, please join the growing list of fellow
Americans and email President Bush at:

president@whitehouse.gov

telling him your feelings.

This is a grassroots effort started by two people, please pass this email

Bill,
I cut and pasted your letter and e-mailed a hundred or more folks last night.
I have already received responses back this morning, from several who have followed through. Thanks for passing on an excellent idea. I believe it is so shameful for our country, to have this kind of "pomp and circumstance", at a time like this. Let's hope that even if the ceremonies go on, this effort will be a reminder, that there are people in this world with a conscience.
