Glad to see the "secret season" promoted. W. Fox will be closed two or three days after New Year's to do some repairs, then open seven days/week through the winter. We'll open at ten and closing will depend on the weather.

Lilli's will be open until the 20th of January from 11 am to 5 pm. Closed for about a week and then open thru Valentines Day. Closed another week in late February. However, if the weather is bad, don't count on me driving on these steep and "crooked" roads. Have a merry Christmas and a warm and cozy season.

Because we get tourist traffic I am posting our Winter hours.

Our retail (as in years past) is closed until March. If your in need of any gardening supplies or want to set up an appointment, our recorded is on 24-7, 253-(TREE) 8733.

We are still very actively landscaping, building patios, walls, irrigation systems, sodding and so-on.

With all this mild weather it is a great opportunity to get things done outside, by planting this time of the year it will relieve the intensity of watering next summer.

Oh and with no rain, get out the hose and water (if they need it) your plants on the nice days, they need moisture in the winter to support the growth they are producing underground..... This is the only time of the year I promote watering durnig the middle of the day.

Looking for things to do this winter? Here is a list of things we have going on the next couple of months.

First is the Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats. This high energy show will be at The Aud on January the 16th at 2:00pm. Tickets are $8 for Children and $20 in advance for adults and $25 for adults the day of the show. Call The Aud for tickets 253-7788 or 888-855-7823.

Second is the Celtic weekend which startes on Friday January 21 with the Robert Burns Dinner at the Crescent Hotel for $25 which is dinner and Celtic entertainment complete with Hagis and a dram of scotch call 253-2255 for reservations.

The next night Danu' the traditional Celtic Band from Ireland will play in The Aud (This is not the entertainment at the Burns Dinner) They are starting their North American Tour here in AR. They are rated the best traditional Celtic Band from Ireland by the BBC. Reserved seating is $18 in advance or $25 on the day of the show.Call The Aud for tickets 253-7788 or 888-855-7823.

Third, during the month of February every Wednesday and Thursday night there will be Dinner Theater at Caribe's. Cost for dinner and the show will be $25. This will feature four very different and very funny plays, three of them directed by the always funny Janet Alexander and one, also very funny, by Annunziata Scarpino. Call me for reservations at 479-363-0363. Seating is limited so make your reservations early.

I hope all locals come out for the shows, they are all going to be great. I also hope this will give an opportunity to business owners to encourage people to come to Eureka Springs in the slower months.(We can make some packages if you want.)

I am looking forward to a great year and I hope all of you are too.

Spread the word!

This is just a word about the entertainment at the Robert Burns Dinner on the 21st of January......Mark and Kelli Stanfield, he being an internationally known piper and she being the accompaning drummer, put on a terrific show last year and he has assured us that he has also added extras for this performance. They are a fabulous pair and if at all possible, please make your reservations early to be certain that you can get in. Included in this is a prime rib dinner with all the trimmings!
