Also, how did Carnivale go? Haven't got HBO this year.

What a terrific, clever show. But the casting annoys me for only one reason. Why can't Hollywood include cast members who aren't stunning in some way? Like Cameron Manheim - great actor and 'accessible'. Are all women lawyers knock-outs? Don't think so.

"Lost" is another example. I've flown more times than I'd like to think about. I have NEVER once been on a flight with that many good looking people. More often than not, I boarded, looked around, and was convinced I was on a doomed, loser's flight.

So what is a "loser"? Are you saying that it is the "looks" of people that determine whether a flight is a doomed, loser's flight or not?

It's a sensation one gets when walking into an ICU unit.

Attitude, body language, etc. How comfortable the flight attendents seem, the edgy ones worry me. And a feeling that the flight might not go well, which some have not.

The point is, in a plane crash such as 'lost' the pmajority of passengers would not be stunning - they would be normal.
