There is a small group of folks in this world who quietly go about their business day in and out without fanfare or patting themselves on their backs.
They construct, create things that are beautiful just to show their appreciation to the world and to share lovely and joy with others. It is enough for them to bring others to a smile or contemplation over what they have brought to us. To share their talents in quiet generosity and candy for our eyes. Maybe such a simple thing as building a snowman, giving to the food bank, feeding a stray or helping someone to cross the street. Planting daffodils.
I am grateful for these people. The world would be mighty dark without them. Thank you Lord for giving them their magnificent obsessions.
