Hi Everyone,
So often you see me on here posting needs. The past few weeks have been a genuine outpouring of love and support for the kids of Eureka.
The folks at the CDP stepped up and painted our building. The entire outside was made clean and shiny.
Carrie, Aaron,Mary and Robin Helped tear down the old skatepark so we could recycle the wood into sets for Eureka Kids Underground Eurfreaka.
Mary and Robin spent countless hours building and constructing sets for us.
Ms. Kim designed our gorgeous posters.
The CAPC stepped up and sponsored our Rocky Horror Party.
The Grannie Gang was born.
The Food began to fly and the grocery bill is slowly going down.
People arrived today with a Brand Spanking new Foosball Table for our pre teens.
We will soon have a Piano!
Ms Lita gave us airtime on KTHS for spots to promote our Haunt.
To all my Geekfest family I just have to say Thank you from the very bottom of my heart.
I was beginning to be very discouraged about our ability to serve kids. I was worried I could not keep going on like this much longer.
And then this warm fuzzy feeling took over. Now I have a goofy smile and don't feel so overwhelmed.
Thank you for caring about our kids.
Thank you for stepping up.
If I missed anyone, I am ever so sorry.
I also need to thank,
Ms Jan for organizing, Ms. Margie for being our loving baker,
Ms. Katie for food, The Leswigs, Ms. Lita and Ms. Kim for food cooking and delivery,
Everyone who has contributed to our Harts bill. Please keep it up. I will get an accounting from them to see how much we have pared it down.
You folks are the Greatest!!!
