Flutterby Crone is the name under which someone who is not in good standing here on GeekFest is known. She was at one time, under her original name (Shimaka), banned.

As you no doubt know, you can get pretty wretched, harsh, mean, nasty, ad hominem, on Geekfest before you are banned. I wasn't here when it happened so I don't know what she said.

Ricky the mayor-in-pretense was banned for his blaming of others for circulating an email, known to be from him by IP address I think, in which he unfairly brought up some back history of a candidate that should have had no part in a campaign, and then tried to blame it on others. So that was very bad, very bad indeed.

Flutterby Crone and others now run another BB, which I have no use for, and which we cannot, do not, and must not talk about here because of-- well-- issues.

At any rate, Flutterby is she who is she. Bev, I am sorry to say that Flutterby Crone is who becsflowers says. She didn't sign her posts in her own name because of the banning issue.

We cannot find these Flutterby posts any more because the Candidates Forum has been taken down.

It wasn't a ploy to be my doctor, but to be my friend.

I had a friend of 18 years like that.. she knew that if I came along, others would come, too. In other words, she wanted to use my friendship to become friends with people that saw right through her. I learned a lot from that friendship. I had a hard time recovering from it. I no longer trusted my radar, my take on people. I questioned many friendships, I stalled out at making new friends. I paid a high price for that friendship. I have not spoken to her since my epiphany. I don't need another friendship like that one.

First I never once said I didnt post on BTG nor did I say anyone had said anything slanderous about me. I made a comment, and it was made on both boards, that I thought it was a little childish.

As for sides, I have tried to be neutral on both boards. Yes I have read both boards and all the post that have been made about this subject, and yes I still think it is childish. So if you want to make me pick sides then I guess I choose the side that doesnt make me choose sides.

I made it very clear at the "big split" that I had friends on both boards & would continue to have them, so keep me out of it. And that's the saddest part of the whole mess. There are quite a few of us "neutral countries" hanging around & we ALL wish that the war would end, the troops go home & that everyone could finally have "Peace on Earth & Goodwill toward All"..... yeah, yeah, I know....when pigs fly. sigh (sorry S&L) :(
