View Full Version : Peas in a Pod

Oh, I wish I were just a little independent pea,
So I didn't have to worry about anyone but me.
But I'm in the pod with the rest of those peas
Finding it impossible to please any of these.

If you cater to one, the other gets pissed;
Try to please both, then you're the one getting dissed.
It's like a nasty legacy passed down thru the years.
We're getting nowhere wasting gas grinding gears.

So what do you do with peas who can't get along in the pod?
The big soup maker in the sky decides to split those peas with a nod.
"If you can't be sweet, then we'll pound your green bods into cream.
"Some poor slob will think split pea soup is really a dream."

So that's what happens with peas who can't get along in the pod,
They have one last meeting in the blender with the split pea soup god.
It's a compliment, should anyone say you're a diplomatic example,
Unless your family crest is on a red and white label named Campbell.

Think anyone will get it?

Look to Berryville to see what cooperation will do - they have a beautiful new Community Center! And they aren't even claiming it as their own - they are sharing it with the entire county. We could take a lesson from them. Tons more money runs through Eureka Springs, but we can't even agree on a sidewalk..............hummmmm

Ms Wilson-

Berryville has 500,000 square feet of Wal-Mart generating sales taxes and Tyson's to feather their nest.

just wondering

You are right Royal, but don't we have Sweetness&Light?

Royal said "feathering their nest," not swining it with silk sow's ears, thilly.

You're right, Dani. "They" didn't get it.
