Doesn't every mayor appoint all commission members subject to council approval?

Wouldn't that make all commission members who actually hold office twice blessed?

DeVito wants commission members to appoint commission members. Maybe they would have better snit training.

Mr. DeVito has gone top some lengths to take the mayor out of the loop on appointments.

The mayor does not vote on appointments unless there is a tie in the council.

In backscratching politics, DeVito's you nominate me, I nominate you and we have the votes in the council strategy is obvious.

If he becomes mayor, I doubt if he would give up that responsibility.
