Calling all Hip-E Dead Fans- THE SCHWAG is coming!

The Schwag are a huge underground favorite of Gratefull Dead fans. They host shows that draw thousands and thousands every year to pay tribute to the legendary American music sound created by the Gratefull Dead.

They will be in the Lumberyard Friday and Saturday June 28 & 29. Tickets are only $7- and I am throwing in your first drink (NOT FREE- that would be illegal http://www.geekfest.com/ubb/wink.gif) included in your ticket price!

In Texas you can bring in your bottle and buy a set up, is that what you meant by brown baggin it? And are we going to get an answer?

Unfortunately, we will not be serving hard liquor in any form until the end of July. We are doing exactly as the State of Arkansas mandates in attaining this license. It should be shortly after July 17th when we will be permitted.

The free drink refers to any wine, beer, malternative, or non-alcoholic beverage we do have available (...and we have a pretty extensive selection!)

Perspective on the brown bag concept may be misunderstood. We can not allow this, and only in certain types of establishment is this allowed (even in Texas)- as a bar owner, and an invester in many entertainment and other venues that serve alcohol - this is not a good concept, and sometimes leads to a less than enjoyable atmosphere. So, the answer is no- no outside food or beverages are permitted.

On a lighter note- this show is being widely received already- I can not wait! People from all over (up to 5 states away) have inquired about it who were not even planning to come to Eureka until this show- so, WOW!
