Message Too Short - but it isn't

I am getting this error message repeatedly when I attempt to update the Geekcycle thread:
The following errors occurred with your submission

1. The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters.


I am simply c/p the old post and updating to post the new.

If anyone out there has an idea about how I can make this work, I'd appreciate your input. I can't update Geekcycle until I do.....cause I ain't gonna retype everything, fersher fersher!

Maybe try writing something outside of the c/p like the date or something. Just a thought.

My wrong....I was copying from "reply with quote" instead of "reply". Seems to make a difference.
