Condolences to Elise. God speed Marty. You will be missed. I glad that I head the pleasure to meet Marty and Elise a few times as they were out and about.

This was sad news for all of us. Prayers to you, Elise, and to all the family. We can't even begin to imagine what this loss will mean to you and to the community. I wish I could be there for you.
    Blessings,
    Cheri

Default What a Community we have.....

to attract such wonderful people to move here invest here and touch our lives with their unselfishness. Despite many opinions we attract the best lose some of the best.

A smile came upon my face as I contemplated this SAD news and could only imagine how King G. welcomed Marty with open arms and said " well done brother, your time on earth is now complete"

Hug those you love, MAKE that call, count to 10.

I have been unable to type these words out, as actually seeing them makes this horribly real.
Although my tears will not bring Mr. Marty back, or bring any comfort to Elise my prayers and thoughts are with her.
Mr. Marty..I will miss you when I am coming to work early to open the Spa, and seeing you with your newspaper tucked under your arm as Annya walked bedside you, like the perfect little lady she was.
I will miss watching Annya stop right outside the Crystal Dining room threshold as Mr. Marty went to get his coffee, as she never took her eyes off you.
Such a gentle, sweet giving man..Godspeed to you on your journey.

Beautiful Elise..we are your family at The Crescent and here for you in whatever capacity we can give to comfort you. I cannot imagine the heavy grief your heart is holding right now at your loss, and my deepest sympathy is with you, and my love.

Island2some, funny you should mention the newspaper. That was the first image that came into my mind when I received the news. Seeing Mr. Roegnik with his newspaper. He always took time to chat a minute. This was ten years ago.
I know the people at the Crescent are working with a heavy heart. I am thinking of you.
    God bless us, everyone.

Elise sent me a note a few months back and stated that Marty grew up here on the west side of Cleveland. We heard this news yesterday as we were leaving my mother's funeral. My family is shocked and saddened and we send thoughts and prayers to all of the Roenigks' friends and family. What a huge, huge tragedy.

To pass away along with your dog must be a perfect dream of many in our community.
But it is a tragic accident.
Eureka Springs is sending the glowing healing lights to Elise.
They must be able to be seen all the way to the hospital in which she resides.
When one of us hurts, we feel it, and want to kiss the boo-boos.

Our heart and prayers go out to Elise & family. We were always happy to see Marty and Anya walking down our street at least a couple of times a week, and a quick smile and hello as well from Marty. He will so missed in our great town. Gayla & Keith
