On many threads on Geekfest there are reports of press articles as the AP wire feeds the news sources. It's being picked up coast to coast.

Can we get them all here in one place?

I'll start with the latest coming in...Aux Arc? Can you add your video links and whatever else you've found?

The small tourist hamlet of Eureka Springs, Arkansas stepped into the national debate over same-sex unions when the Eureka Springs City Council unanimously passed the domestic partner registry ordinance May 14. The ordinance, which goes into effect on June 13, allows non-married couples from anywhere in the country to register with the city and receive a certificate bearing the signature of the Mayor and the City Clerk validating their relationship. To me this seems to say that people can send in a request for City Hall and get back a certificate. I assumed from my read of the ordinance that you had to be in ES to apply for the certificate so maybe I am just misreading the above note.

Yes, but keep in mind these are independent news releases..I would imagine City Hall will be getting lots of calls and will be giving the correct info on how to obtain one...
